For the 16th year the FE Warren Education and Training Section and the on-base offices of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Laramie County Community College and Park University are participating in the community-wide "Operation Back to School" program. The program assists qualified local elementary, junior high school, high school and community college students with adequate school supplies with which to start the school year. The Base collection provided 3,183 items to assist approximately 1500 students last year.

Donation is easy. Simply bring any of the above supplies to be donated to the Education and Training donation box or the Embry-Riddle, LCCC, or Park offices at the Education Center, 1205 Ziemann Boulevard between June 6 and September 16. Collection bins are available to units to collect supplies as well. The collected supplies will be delivered to NEEDS, Inc. for distribution to all students in need. This year’s collection dates are 7 July – 2 September 2010.
